6th Grade Strings Instructors

Roberto Arundale has undergraduate and graduate degrees in music performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the University of Michigan and the Cleveland Institute of Music.  He is currently completing his Doctorate of Music Arts from the University Colorado Boulder.  Mr. Arundale has performed across the United States on Maine Public Radio and has collaborated with members of the Ying and Cavani Quartets and Edgar Meyer.  A devoted educator, Roberto taught in the P.A.L.S. program at the Aspen Music Festival and School, taught lessons to the undergraduate students of the cello studio at CU Boulder as a teaching assistant, as well as directed private studios in Cleveland and Boulder.  He was drawn to the Roaring Fork Valley as an Aspen Music Festival and School alumnus and served as an AmeriCorps ArtistYear Teaching Artist during the 2018-19 school year.  Currently, he performs and directs a private studio in the Roaring Fork Valley, teaches at the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork and within the Aspen Music Festival & School AfterWorks programs.
