Patti Connolly

Class Teacher, Grade 4

Patti received a B.S. in Liberal Studies with a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from California State University, San Francisco. She completed Waldorf Teacher Training at Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks, California. Patti began her Waldorf career in 1989 as a founding parent at the Cedar Springs Waldorf School in Northern California. Two years later, Patti became a class teacher and taught for 12 years at Cedar Springs. Since 2004, along with her husband, a fellow Waldorf educator, Patti has combined her love for travel with her dedication to Waldorf education, working far and near as a kindergarten teacher, subject teacher, education director, teacher evaluator and mentor, and teacher educator in Colorado, California, Nigeria and, in 2016-17, at the Creative Education Foundation of Zanzibar, a Waldorf school for disadvantaged Zanzibari children.

Patti is excited to have returned to the Roaring Fork Valley having first worked at WSRF in 2004. She feels very lucky to be Tim Connolly’s partner for over 39 years, the mother of two Waldorf graduates, grandmother of twin grandsons, and a lover of cooking, being with family and friends, and exploring the world.
