Movement Teacher

Julianna earned a B.A. in Human Ecology & K-8 Maine State Teaching Certification from the College of the Atlantic and a M.A. in Education & Waldorf Teaching Certification from Antioch University. She completed further study at the Spacial Dynamics Institute in New York to become a Level 3 Trainer. Julianna first visited WSRF in 1999 and after a myriad of teaching experiences in public schools, environmental/outdoor education, gymnastics programs, World Teach EFL in Costa Rica, and other Waldorf schools, she returned as both a class teacher and later movement and practical arts. Eight years ago, she began an odyssey back east where she continued her studies in Spacial Dynamics in Waldorf schools, and served as adjunct faculty at Antioch. With her partner Gabe she also created time for a canoe expedition in the Boundary Waters, backpacking the Kungsleden in arctic Sweden and put her love of gardening and cooking to work in her New Hampshire home. Her experiences back east confirmed her love for WSRF and she is happy to be back!
