Liisa received a B.S. in Environmental Education from Colorado State University and an M.A. in Special Education with a double focus on Mild/Moderate Needs and Severe Affective Needs from University of Northern Colorado. Liisa has completed & is certified in Waldorf Foundation Studies, multi-sensory Orton-Gillihgham Basic & Advanced Reading Instruction, math instruction, Dyslexia Practitioner through the International Dyslexia Association, and is a member of the International Dyslexia Association. Every year she attends the CCIRA Conference and Reading in the Rockies.
