In the Media: What Grows In Silence, For the Wild Podcast

We often stumble upon stories in the media that we find truly inspiring. Not only do they bring engaging stories to life but as we listen, we hear ideas of Waldorf Education entangled in even the most mainstream media channels.

Especially this year, we are drawn to stories of resilience, compassion and new ways of approaching the world around us, all deeply engrained qualities of Waldorf Education.

Recently, we heard the story of Dr. John Francis on the incredible, For the Wild Podcast. As stated on the show’s page: “In this episode of For The Wild, Dr. Francis shares how his journey came to be and the profound impact that silence and slowing down can have on us. In a world polluted by noise, how can we experiment with silence? What other forms of communication and Earthly rhythms arise when we do so?”

We highly recommend taking an hour to hear this inspiring story and contemplate how the decisions we make dramatically impact our world and those around us. Listen to the complete episode here.
