Faculty Administrator starting Summer 2024

The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork located in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains is looking for a new Faculty Administrator starting summer of 2024

Guiding Principles:

As a member of the administration, the Faculty Administrator shares the vision of collaborative leadership, creating an environment of stability and balance that allows the school to fulfill its mission and each member of the Faculty to fulfill their duties.

The Faculty Administrator serves as part of the Administrative Council, a three-person team that serves as the Head of School. The Administrative Council is responsible for oversight and support for daily operations, including school programs, personnel, facilities, and resources, while effectively advancing strategic goals for school improvement. 

The Faculty Administrator oversees and coordinates all activities related to the pedagogical mission of the school. The focus is support of the Faculty and programs ensuring that the pedagogical principles of Waldorf education are being faithfully upheld and that the mission of the school is being fulfilled. 

Requirements:

  • Training and experience as a Waldorf Teacher

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Ability to give direction and foster collaboration in the Pedagogical Council and Faculty

  • Mature communication skills with a willingness to facilitate and encourage direct communication practices with colleagues and parents

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Ability to work in consensus

  • Competency in forming agendas, keeping track of decisions, and upholding process in regards to policies and procedures

  • Excellent organizational skills 

  • Takes initiative to serve

  • Ability to think ahead, self-manage, and be flexible

  • Ability to think systematically

  • Ability to ask questions for clarity

  • An interest and commitment to Anthroposophy, the wellspring from which Waldorf education derives its wisdom

Compensation:

  • Expected annual salary of $103,488.00

  • Benefits to include health, dental, life & disability insurance; retirement plan; paid vacation and PTO; and tuition remission
