Education is a gift that emerges from the efforts of children, parents, and teachers to discover truth. The work of the foundation that operates the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork is to enable that discovery to occur for local families that embrace Waldorf education.
25% of the operating budget of the school comes from gifts from families, extended families, local businesses, friends of the school, alumni families, and charitable foundations. The remaining 75% comes from Tuition. In order to enable our talented faculty to continue their work, while serving families from a wide range of economic levels, volunteers and board members host two fundraising campaigns: annual giving (AG) and Hands & Heart.
Last year's Annual Giving Campaign (AG), "Rainbow Makers" ended February 1, 2010. 10% of our budget comes from the Annual Giving Campaign with large and small gifts from parents, grandparents, family foundations, businesses, alumni families, and those who are supportive of our efforts.
