Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork Full Accreditation

The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork is proud to have received it’s full accreditation from the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). We are considered a full member, which means we have been recognized by our peers as a mature institution that stands in the world as independent representative of what is best in Waldorf Education.

The purpose of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America is to strengthen and nurture the impulse of Waldorf Education so that it manifests widely in the world. To this end, the Association works for quality and integrity in everything it attempts and achieves. In this way, it inspires leadership within each of its schools and institutes and promotes conscious and collaborative human communities and relationships at all levels of the Association’s work. The Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) also recognizes the international context of Waldorf Education and values the opportunity for renewed social awareness arising from its worldwide growth.

Waldorf Education inspires a love of learning that fosters personal self‐understanding and appreciation for the intrinsic value of other human beings and the natural world. When a school or institute becomes a member of AWSNA, it agrees to engage in associative work with other members that are also striving to realize the ideals of Waldorf Education.
